Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing. It is a very powerful yet simple technique that everyone can learn.
"Reiki" basically means Divinely guided life force energy. We are all animated by this life force energy, by all I mean all living things.
Reiki is safe, since it is guided by the Divine it can never cause harm. You can never give too little or too much Reiki. If all you have is a few minutes go ahead, any amount of Reiki will always help.
When we experience an illlness or an injury, or an emotional shock, we create or we are experiencing blocks that were created in our past and are now outpicturing in the physical as illness or emotional distress. Reiki breaks up those blocks in our energy fields and restores our life force energy. Our body can now "heal" itself. Reiki is very powerful; it enhances the healing energy you may already be using. Once you are attuned, which your teacher does for you, you need only think Reiki to "turn it on".
It is a very easy healing technique to use. It is always ready to flow and it will do so whenever you want it to.

Once you start on this path you are forever changed. Reiki is dynamic, through it's use you change and grow. You have the opportunity to become all that you are meant to become; here is a very loving and powerful tool to help you do that.
